Hello my name is Lucille,
I'm an illustrator specialised in helping pioneers in the medical and scientific community create visuals that not only educate and build credibility but are also aesthetically pleasing, simplifying complex topics into visually engaging narratives.
My formal training in desktop publishing left me wanting more, leading me to a BA in Scientific Illustration at the Zurich University of the Arts. This educational journey was transformative, especially the focus on medical illustration. Apart from loving the aesthetics, I also realised the potential that medical illustration had when it came to gaining awareness and educating.
At the moment, I work part-time as a self-employed illustrator and part-time as a graphic designer and as a product designer for a plastic surgeon. My work includes creating custom implants, particularly for breast cancer survivors, offering a personalised and natural aesthetic.
I currently reside in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland, where I enjoy life with my partner, our daughter, and our three pet rabbits.
Each illustration project is a new learning curve, reminding me to stay curious and engaged. If you have a concept, discovery, or product that's ready for a visual narrative, I'd love to help. Let's craft your story.
I am a Professional (Active) Member of Association Européenne des Illustrateurs Médicaux et Scientifiques.
