As a seasoned medical illustrator, I am deeply passionate about using visual communication to amplify the understanding of intricate medical procedures and conditions, to both medical professionals and lay audiences alike. One of my significant collaborations includes working with the University Hospital Zurich, illustrating various artery illnesses and therapy offerings. I also had the chance to depict diverse vascular access points and intricacies of microcirculation disorders, contributing to patient education and therapy comprehension.

Another enriching project was with the Istituto Cardiocentro Ticino, creating a series of illustrations on Mitral Valve illnesses and surgeries. I also developed visual aids to explain complex surgical procedures to access the heart and aortic arch.

For me, medical illustration is not merely about artistic rendering, but about creating tools that enhance understanding and ultimately improve health outcomes. Each project is a new opportunity to blend my artistic skills with my interest in the human heart.
